Among the Balearic Islands in the glittering Mediterranean Sea lies a legend. Rugged mountains, white beaches, buzzing nightlife – the legend is called Ibiza.
There really isn’t a more perfect holiday destination. Along with stunning beaches and spectacular natural scenery, the island is renowned for having the best nightlife in the world. Each summer clubbers from across the globe make a pilgrimage to see the world’s most prestigious DJs spin the decks at Pacha, Space, El Divino, Amnesia and the rest. Ibiza is a true clubbing paradise.
But there’s more to the island than just nightlife – Ibiza has a whole lot of history and culture too. IbizaTown is a World Heritage Site thanks to the fort architecture of the D’alt Villa (upper town) which offers great views of the surrounding area. There’s also plenty of places to stop and watch the world go by. After an afternoon sightseeing and shopping what could be better than sitting down for a bite to eat in some of Europe’s finest cafes, bars and restaurants?
